What can I drive with a CDL-B License?
Class B CDL is the operation of a single vehicle with a gross vehicle weight of 26,001 pounds or more and haul a trailer that weighs less than 10,000 pounds. Vehicles that you can drive with a CDL-B license:
- Limousine
- Transit Bus
- Cemet truck
- School bus
- Dump truck
- Boom truck
- Garbage truck
If you’re looking for a job that only requires operating one of these vehicles, you may not need to earn your CDL-A. CDL-B driving jobs may be ideal for those who want to work in a more limited geographical area and want to stay closer to home, or if trucking is not a long-term career path.
