Categories: Students Faculty Staff
May 7, 2020 - Making connections and supporting the Lobo community is at the heart of the work of the UNM Alumni Association.
Operation Clean Paws is just one of the ways the Alumni Association is showing their #LoboLove for New Mexicans during this health crisis.
100 gallons of hand sanitizer was purchased from local alum Chris Leurig who owns Safe House distillery.
#LoboLove was spread all over New Mexico with the branch campuses in Valencia, Los Alamos and 亚色影库allup receiving the much needed disinfectant.
With the extreme outbreak of COVID-19 the Gallup area, local healthcare and public safety organizations were also included in the hand sanitizer distribution
Staying connected to the Pack has never been more important, but it also comes with unique challenges as New Mexicans practice social distancing to keep themselves and their loved ones safe during this time of uncertainty.
Through the #LoboLove campaign, the UNM Alumni Association is presenting opportunities for each us to continue to unite both our alumni community and the communities in which we live.
