TRIO Upward Bound hosts a six-week academic enrichment summer program at the University of New Mexico-Gallup campus. Students participate in fun and interactive academic classes to prepare them for the upcoming school year; additionally, students attend cultural/educational enrichment field trips on Fridays. All student travel expenses (transportation, lodging, meals, and admission tickets) are covered by Upward Bound.
Lunch is provided daily and free summer supplies for classes and field trips will be provided to all summer students. At the end of the summer enrichment program, students will travel and explore an out-of-state college/university and take part in cultural enrichment activities around the designated city.
